Gulf Interstate Engineering - Round Office Building

Add caption
Gulf Interstate Engineering occupies an architecturally appealing circular-shaped office building with one section carved out and featuring an ascending-steps-theme corresponding with the floors inside.

This view is from the West but SH-6 and the undeveloped land between the building and the highway [which has been posted for sale] are not visible in this photo

The office complex represents a rather unique design choice among the Houston Energy Corridor's agglomeration of corporate campuses.

Clad with tinted glass all the way around, it makes for nice reflections at sunset on the Western side, and creates mirror images of trees and foliage on the side facing Addicks-Howell Road. The building is located near Highway 6 with official address at 16010 Barkers Point Lane, Houston, TX 77079.
