Energy Corridor: Hottest area for new office construction in Houston area

One new tower completed structurally, a second one
in progress.

According to a ranking of the top Houston Submarkets with the Most Office Construction published by the Houston Business Journal in its Dec 19-25, 2014 issue, the Energy Corridor beat The Woodlands with 5.7 million square feet under  construction vs. 4.6 for The Woodlands. The rest are far behind. Next in decreasing order: Westchase with 1.8 mil and Downtown with 1.6 mil. The latter leads in rent with $42.10 per square foot.

Enclave Place - New Office Development coming to Enclave Parkway in prime Energy Corridor location

A newly planted project sign by Colvill Office Properties (which will lease the space) announces the forthcoming start of construction of a 300,000 SF Office Building on Enclave Parkway on open land just North of 1430 Enclave Pkwy Building currently occupied by Technip and Nationstar Mortgage.

The land is located to the West of Enclave Parkway South of Olive Hill Drive. Rusty farming equipment sitting on the corner of the field provides an apt reminder of the area's not so distant agricultural past.
