Flooded Bear Creek Park proves popular with ibises

Sections of Bear Creek Pioneers Park are currently closed because of high water.
The ibises, which unlike the black vultures are not seen as commonly in the reservoir, seem to like it.

Turkey Creek - No turkeys, or even turkey vultures

No turkeys anywhere to be seen around Turkey Creek. Better chance to observe turkeys -- not to mention Turkey Vultures -- at Bear Creek Pioneers Park. The black vultures are more common in the wild and can often be seen aloft (and circling the BP Westlake Building on Memorial Drive where they also like to perch).
