Dam Comet Watching and shooting in the dark

Star-gazer-type folk congregated on the top of Barker Dam to watch the comet rise and shine earlier this week. Not that it did much shining.    



Did not myself manage to detect the faint comet in the evening sky with the naked eye, not to mention shooting it. But I got my chance a couple days later.... Alright, it was not exactly a comet, but the more quotidian event was good enough for a couple of cool minimalist pics: "Crossing lines in the sky" and "Power line approach".  No, not Power Points... Power Lines.
